DOLLYman

DOLLYman is an avant-garde chamber jazz collective based in London. Their music, written by all members of the band, takes in jazz leanings, wild and free improvisation, adventurous classical and delicately weird pop. Sounding like a mixture of Miles Davis' Bitches Brew period, the Cinematic Orchestra's eerie soundscapes, anarchic John Zorn-esque classical/rock tear-ups and throwing in some spine-tingling chamber pop songs, DOLLYman are electric to watch. Performances have included Brixton’s the Redgate Gallery, the Loft in North London and as part of the Chiller Cabinet series at the Big Chill House.
