Szu Han Chen
Szu Han Chen is a Taiwanese artist and currently working and living
in London. Before coming to London, she had studied Advertising and worked
in advertising agency. In 2007, she graduated with an MA in Fine Art from
Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design in London. She often uses
video, film and photography in my practice. Szu Han’s work explores people’s
living in the city, and her image represents an ambiguity between romantic
fantasy and the reality. She challenges her artwork to bring people another
attitude towards the banal reality in a poetic way. Her recent exhibition
includes “VIDEOHOLICA 2008 Biennial August in Art” at Georgi Velchev Art
Museum in Varna, Hungary and part of community art project, “(three) range
chicken art on the farm” at Freightliners Farm Project in London.
