Worm Hotel

Chris Hayward is a comedian, director, editor writer and
performer all rolled into one. He works collaboratively with Nat Saunders
as the creative duo Worm Hotel.
Worm Hotel is a string of oddball skits written by and starring Chris and
Nat, alongside a moth-bitten Noah’s Ark of mangy teddies, wild animals and
homemade CGI effects. Mixing every day situations with a copious amount
of science fiction, puppets, and random acts of violence, it’s a fast-paced
show aimed at a generation raised on kid’s TV, salad in bags, movie trailers,
and songs sung by twats. Worm Hotel’s very own advert break features public
service announcements extolling the dangers of barbed wire fences, while
promoting apples and a new product which promises to stop your sides hurting,
and each episode ends with a ‘power ballad’ from Scandinavian boyband ‘Torshov’
- their tune ‘In My Dreams’ being the first love song to ever feature the
lyric ‘I want to see inside you’. Often surreal, sometimes eerie, often
garishly cheerful, and always a bit mental – Worm Hotel is a show for those
that like a bit of a bang with their skits
