Juice Vocal Trio collaborate with Dollyman

juice are an experimental vocal trio who specialise in giving vibrant performances
of contemporary music with a theatrical edge, drawing on world music, jazz,
folk and pop. juice are at the forefront of the UK's experimental/classical
scene; they have performed in the bmic Cutting Edge Series and tour, spnm’s
The Sound Source series, nonclassical and the Park Lane Group’s Young Artists
series at the Purcell Room to excellent press reviews. In June 2007, they
won second prize at the internationally renowned Tampere Vocal Festival
- the only UK group ever to be prizewinners. juice feature on NMC's 2007
release of Roger Marsh's 'Pierrot Lunaire'. They have appeared at numerous
international and international festivals and have performed works by avant-garde
pioneers such as Morton Feldman and Meredith Monk. juice's work increasingly
combines live singing with electronics and/or visuals. They have performed
a live part-improvised score to a silent film, The Danger Girl, at the BFi
Southbank as part of the Bird's Eye View film festival, and performed a
vocal/electronica score at the London College of Fashion Graduate Show at
the Royal Academy of Art with UK Beatboxing Champion Beardyman.
