Ben Lister



After graduating with a BA in Video Production at London College of Music and Media in 2001, Ben came back to Birmingham where antidote productions was born out of a string of successful projects.
Through antidote Ben directed and edited many videos ranging from music promos for EMMA award winning Bally Sagoo, MOBO award winning Roots Manuva and the Female MC of the year C-mone to more advertising work for Virgin, EMI Records, Dove and Motorola.
His first professional video for antidote won music video of the year on Zee Music. Within a year of being in business, antidote was awarded Most Promising Business of the Year 04/05 by ITV and Birmingham City Council. They were selected by the UK Film Council to produce two digital shorts. His latest short, Because I Can was in the official selection at LUND film festival and was selected for TEN4 magazine.
More recently he has been working freelance in London's Soho for MTV, AMV and the Cartoon Network as an editor and compositor whilst developing his own projects. His work in London's Soho has included TV and cinema commercials for the Nintendo Wii, Gillette and Islamic Relief.
His latest piece of work for Diplo was selected as one of Radars top music videos and chosen to be featured on the prestigious shots ring out website.
