The Red Carpet. The desire for a grand entrance, of glamour and grandeur. The idea that you are the centre of the world. The exhibitionism that lies deep within us. Yet it shows how naked man can be. A symbol of seemingly shallow emotion is the Red Carpet. A rug basically. A rug that wants to throw you back, that won't unravel, and show how childish we might have been for believing in this dream.
